Bench Reveal

Legend on the Bench will reveal our 23rd Suicide Prevention Bench in Aldeburgh, Suffolk, on 4th April, the address is in the flyer below. As always you are all more than welcome to come along and support this wonderful cause, it would be great to see you there.

The rapid spread of the Suicide Prevention Benches and their installation in more locations is truly inspiring. These benches are not just places to sit, but symbols of hope, safety, and a call to action for mental health awareness.

The fact that mental health is being brought to the forefront of people’s thoughts is a big shift. With each new bench, conversations around mental health become more normalized and visible, which will help reduce stigma and encourage those in need to reach out for help.

The message engraved on the Bench “Someone is always Listening” is such a simple way to let people know that they are not alone, especially in times of distress, reminding them that someone cares and someone is ready to listen, please talk your voice matters. Engraving those words on the benches transforms them into more than just a Bench, it becomes a beacon of light and hope for a better tomorrow.
