Bench Reveal: Houghton Regis

Legend on the Bench Charity will be installing our 19th & 20th Suicide Prevention Bench tomorrow in Houghton Regis, we would love for you all to be there. Together everyone of you is playing a part in helping us raise awareness of mental health and Suicide and helping to save lives.
This video below of my sister getting an imaginary cuddle from her son Jay ( Jay took his own life ) carries an amazingly powerful message and I defy anyone to watch it and not shed a tear. This is why our charity resonates with so many people who in one way or another has experienced mental health problems. Our aim is to help save lives but also to help stop the suffering and devastation of the families and friends left behind, people like my sister who would give everything to cuddle her son once again for real.
Tomorrow we take 2 more steps towards our goal, 2 more benches out into the public domain, 2 more benches of hope. Thank you all for your kindness and support and just for a second take a look in the mirror and feel good, feel proud, get goosebumps as I do, we are helping save lives. The journey is just beginning, there’s a long way to go but with perseverance, empathy, love and kindness this journey is in reach.
