February 26th 2019 is a day that will live with our family forever, it was the day our Jay took his own life. Today we remembered Jay by installing 2 Suicide Prevention Benches in Houghton Regis on the 6th anniversary of Jays death.

The weather was horrific yet so many people turned out to watch the unveiling and support our charity. The first bench was installed at The Green, Houghton Regis and the 2nd bench installed at Tithe Farm Pavillion. Both reveals were simply beautiful despite the weather, seeing the benches being unveiled is so rewarding and gives you goosebumps everytime, especially on this day and date.

Legend on the Bench would like to thank everyone who braved the weather and shared in our unveiling, thank you all. Special Mention must go to Clare Evans the town clerk who played a very big part in securing approval by the town council. Also to Sarah Gelsthorp, Civic and Events Manager who did most of the organising of the days event. Thank you Clair and Sarah we very much appreciate your help and support.

Also thank you to Jo Herber who made a very special cake, a Legend on the Bench cake, amazing Clair and thank you. Also thank you to Joanna Cross Photography for very kindly agreeing to take the photos of the occasion. Thank you Jo and Joanna your effort and time is very much appreciated.
